Comment: Kate Grinstead's father John Parker Grinstead was living in Madison Co., Kentucky in the 1840 and 1850 censuses. She was born in 1842. Lincoln Co. is between Madison Co. and Pulaski Co.

MRS. M. E. PARKER DIED AT ANDERSON TUESDAY

A telegram was received in the city Tuesday morning saying Mrs. M. E. Parker had died, and that the burial would be in Honey Grove Friday.
Mrs. Parker was a resident of Honey Grove for many years, the family moving from here about 22 years ago. Mr. Parker passed away about five years ago. Deceased is survived by four sons and three daughters. The sons are Harry, of Rockwall, Dr. Edward, of Anderson, Lewis, of Colorado, and Robert, of Hot Springs, Ark. The daughters are Mrs. Maggie-Parker Rhew, of Anderson, Mrs. C. R. Rhew, of Dallas, and Mrs. H. W. Brown, of Lubbock.
Mrs. Parker was dearly loved in Honey Grove by many friends, and was a noble, Christian woman, a consistent and active member of the Methodist church. She was a native of Kentucky and was in her 86th year.
