DEATH:
In the probate proceedings of his father's estate in 1842 it is said that Benjamin died 30 Nov 1829 in Arkansas. In 1842 seven children are named as heirs. It may be there were more than 7 in 1829. Benjamin's wife does not seem to be in the 1840 census. Presumably she died between 1830 and 1840. By 1840 most of her children are probably back in Alabama, where they are in 1842.
