WHO WAS HER FATHER?

Henry H. Hitt was married to Francis "Fanny" Hitt. The wording in 6/606 (Sumter County, Alabama Orphans' Court Records, Vol 6, pg 606) relative to the estate of Benjamin B. Hitt implies that Henry H. is his son. Henry H. is also mentioned relative to the estate of John Hitt (6/172) which together with 6/606 implies that he is John Hitt's son-in-law. Thus Fanny Hitt is John Hitt's daughter.
