ROBERT HOLLINGSWORTH (Abraham, George, Abraham, Thomas, Valentine.) Son of Abraham and Margaret (Wright) Hollingsworth. Born November 22, 1767. Married Jennie Hamilton, about 1790 or '91. Lived near Cross Hill, S. C. Both buried at Liberty Springs Church, Laurens Co., S. C. Robert died prior to November 1, 1826. Book F, page 49, Laurens, S. C., Probate Court records "Wm. Ligon granted administration to the estate of Robert Hollingsworth, deceased. Berry Lick and John McWilliams, sureties, November 1, 1826." Also, Ibid page 146 "Robert Hollingsworth, about 20 years, Susan Hollingsworth, about 18 years, and Unice Hollingsworth, about 15 years, make request that Wm. Ligon be appointed their guardian, January 2, 1828."
