Jonathan purchased a tract of land from his father.
On 23 Apr 1790 Jonathan Jones Senr and Bethsheba his wife of Chester Co., South Carolina sell to Jonathan Jones Junr of the same place for 100 pounds sterling current money of the state of South Carolina a tract of 193 acres taken out of a tract of 455 acres granted 8 Apr 1785 to Jonathan Jones Senr situated in the District of Camden on the waters of Sandy River east side of said river. The tract being conveyed is described by metes and bounds. Paul Furgd's line and Mororsons's line are mentioned.
