Ludbrook Lee is mentioned in the deed of February 21, 1797. See notes under his father-in-law Richard Pace for details. Ludbrook Lee is not in the direct index to deeds in Edgefield Co., which starts in 1787. He is a witness in two deeds: Book 17, pgs 132-35 and Book 25, pgs 275-77. The latter deed is dated February 8, 1798.

Neither he nor his wife Charlotte are in the 1800 and 1810 censuses in Edgefield Co. Charlotte has her own entry in 1820.
