On April 16, 1759 John Lockett and his wife Mary of Chesterfield Co. sell to Thomas Lockett for £30 a tract in Chesterfield Co. on the north side of a branch of Deep Creek and containing 197 acres by estimation, being that tract left to him by the last will and testament of his father William Lockett, dec'd, and granted to the said William by patent bearing date January 12, 1746. On April 16, 1759 Thomas Lockett and his wife Lucy of Chesterfield Co. sell to John Lockett for £20 a tract in Chesterfield Co. on the south side of a branch of Deep Creek and containing 198 acres by estimation, being that tract left to him by the last will and testament of his father William Lockett, dec'd, and granted to the said William by patent bearing date January 12, 1746. It appears that John and Thomas are exchanging the tracts alotted to them by their father's will.
