The will of David McCurdy who died in 1834 in Williamson Co., Tennessee makes it clear that his deceased son David W. McCurdy had a least one heir. Zerilda P. McCurdy married John H. Williamson in 1838 in Williamson Co. Since all of David McCurdy's sons except John went to Arkansas after his death and since Zerilda doesn't fit into the sex/age slots of the 1830 and 1840 censuses for John McCurdy, it is reasonable to conjecture that she is the daughter of David W.

Rebecca S. McCurdy married Frederick Fisher December 23, 1834 in Williamson Co. David W. McCurdy's wife was Rebecca Andrews, and Rebecca S. McCurdy is probably his widow.
