PREBBLE BAKER CRABB KERMIT Prebble Baker Crabb, born Dec. 12, 1911, passed away Jan. 30, 2002, in Kermit, Texas. She was born in San Angelo, Texas, to J.B. and Mattie Baker of Miles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Crabb in 1992. Mr. and Mrs. Crabb moved to San Angelo from Dallas in 1939, where Mr. Crabb opened The Tile Shop and later founded Monarch Tile Mfg. The longtime residents of San Angelo were founding members of St. Lukes United Methodist Church. Mrs. Crabb was a member of the Las Hermanas Study Club. Survivors include her daughters and their husbands, Vicki and Jerry Kight of Houston, Martha and Mike Fostel of Kermit; a stepdaughter, Pat Propes of San Angelo; four grandchildren, Kyle and Sarah Kight of Hurst, Brett and Cynthia Fostel of McCamey, Clay Fostel of Houston and Paige Fostel of Arlington; and two great-grandchildren, Derek Fostel and Justin Kight. She was also preceded by several nieces and nephews. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the United Methodist Church in Kermit with the Rev. Beth Harrington officiating. Graveside service will follow at 4 p.m. in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo. Pallbearers will be Kyle Kight, Brett Fostel, Clay Fostel, Jack Crouse, Elmer Dean White and Mike Emerson. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
