In the Name of God Amen the 22d day of May 1708 I Margret Locket of the Parish of Bristoll in the County of Henrico being sick and weak in Body But of Sound minde & memory Pleased be almighty God Do Make and ordain Constitute and appoint this my last will & Testament in manner following. First and principally I Recommend my Soul to God that gave it me, hopeing through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ my Redeemer to have full pardon & Remission of all my Sins in full & Certain hope of a Joyfull Resurrection at the Last day and my Body to the Earth from whence it was taken to be buried in such Deasent manner as my Exec'r hereafter shall think fit & Convenient And for such Worldly Estate as it hath Pleased Good of his Infinite Goodness to bestow upon me, I Give and Bequeath that as followeth (viz)
Imp I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Standly one fether bed and Boulster, being the Same which I usually Lye on with __ Blankets and one Cow Commonly Called Duckey with _______ She Shall Increase after my Decease, to her and her heirs forever. Item I give & bequeath to my sons Benj'n & Tho's Locket, and my Daughters Susan Grigg and Mary Mitchell to Each and Every one of them One Shilling Sterling to be pd by my Exec'r hereafter named. All the Rest of my Estate of what Nature or quality soever I give and bequeath to my Son James Locket and do make him Whole and Sole Exec'r of this my last will & Testament Hereby revoaking all other wills by me made; In witness whereof I have hereto Set my hand & affixed my seale the day & yeare above written
