The following was copied from the database of Earl J. Hitt in WorldConnect (no longer existent):

The 1850 Federal Census, Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, Distr 14, enumerated 23 August 1850, lists: Franky Hitt, age 87 born in Virginia; living with her daughter Mary and husband John Randol, Jr.
On 13 November 1852 the following note was made in the Church Book of the Bethel Baptist Church:
"Sister Frans Hitt departed this life the 17 day of May A.D. 1852, she was born Sept. 8, 1763, and was baptised by Bro. Joseph Baker in 1804 in the state of Georgia, Washington County, in Bethel Church, she move from Georgia to Missouri, Cape Girardeau County and was received by letter into the Bethel Church A.D. 1806. Making in all an orderly member of the regular Baptist Church forty eight years."
