CHARLIE LEWIS PARKER was born 06 Dec 1861 in Pulaski Co., KY, and died 26 Jun 1906 in Pulaski Co., KY. He died as the result of a fall from a wagon, while breaking a team of mules to harness. He lived 109 days after the fall and in a letter to his sisters, his father was devastated that he, a doctor, could not help his own son.
He married MAHALA KATHERINE HARGIS, 24 Dec 1888 in St. Louis, MO, daughter of ANDREW JACKSON HARGIS and AMANDA JANE BAKER. She was born 27 Nov 1863 in Pulaski Co., KY, and died 17 Oct 1928 in San Pedro, CA.
Both are buried in Somerset City Cemetery, Pulaski Co., KY, along with a daughter, Alpha (5 Oct 1889 - 26 Sep 1893) who died of diphtheria.
Mahala married (again in St Louis, MO) John Franklin Dollins, 18 Jun 1924.
