In the name of God Amen. I Elianer Rees of the County and State aforesaid being weak in body but of Sound mind and memory do make this my last will and testament. First I recommend my Soul to God who gave it and my body to its mother dust to be burried in decent Christianlike manner and as to the worldly concerns which I am possessed of I will in the following manner to wit:
1st - It is my will and desire that my debts be first paid. I will that my daughter Leathy B Lawson have my Negro man Wil exclusive of an equal Share of the remainder of my estate. 2nd I will that my daughter Amelia Porter have my old negro woman Lucy to take care of and my Silver table Spoons to her and her heirs together with an equal Share of my estate that remains to be managed by my Son Thadeus B Rees a trustee for my daughter and her children 3rd I will that my Son Thadeus B Rees have my negro man Dick and account to xxx my Children for five hundred dollars at the general division of my estate.
4th I will that my daughter Elizabeth Hudson have my old Silver tea spoons with an equal Share of my estate.
5th I will that my daughter Polly have my bed curtains and thirty dollars with an equal Share. I will my daughter Eliza one Calico Counterpan & thirty dollars with an equal Share of my estate. I will that my daughter Epsey B have my bay mare and saddle and curtain bed stead and little table and china ware and new Silver tea Spoons and an equal Share of my estate.
I will my executor to Sell my negroes on a credit of twelve months. I will that a bed and furniture by kept by my daughter B Lawson for the use of Son A. F Rees_ family and his Share of my estate I will to be controled by my Son Thad B Rees Solely for the use of Son A F Rees and his family and not to be Subject to the payment of any claims against the Said A F Rees.
Last it is understood that after first taking out the legacies contained in the will that all my children are to draw Share and Share alike as the all their names are mentioned escept my Son John Rees who has drawn out of his fathers estate before this more than is coming to any child in witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 16th day of June 1829 Lastly I nominate and appoint my Son Thad B Rees my executor who is authorized to use his own discretion in the Sale of all my property of every description and to do any thing that will accord with the true intent and meaning of this my last will and testament. in Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal in presence of the day and date before mentioned.
