RITES SLATED FRIDAY FOR CHARLIE REECE

Funeral services for Charlie H. Reece, 64, of Tuscaloosa Route One, who died last night at the U.S. Veterans Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sand Springs Methodist Church, four miles east of Goro, with burial in the church cemetery by Spigener-Brown Service.

The Rev. H.C. Tubbs of Holten Heights and the Rev. Lee Strickland of Gordo will officiate.

Active pallbearers will be John P. Reece, Raymond, Clarence, and Hilton Reece, John Henry Beard and J. W. Hall.

Honorary pallbearers will be H. D. Boyd, Cooper Boyd, Dewey Weaver, Clayton Cox, Earl Cox and Arther Brown.

Surviving Mr. Reece are his wife; three sons, John Reece of Tuscaloosa, Thomas R. Reece of the Crescent Ridge Road and Charles E. Reece of Fort Jackson, S.C.; three daughters, Mrs. Eugene Corley, Mrs. Nellie Turner and Mrs. Louis Bailey, all of Tuscaloosa; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Tom Mullenix and Mrs. A. G. Fair of Tuscaloosa, and a brother Davis Reece of Gordo.
