LONNIE GEORGE REECE OF BUHL BURIED
Last rites for Lonnie George Reece, 71, of Buhl, were to be held at 11 a.m. today from Carroll's Creek Church with the Rev. Otto Stucki officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery by Jones and Spigener.

Mr. Reece died Sunday at a local hospital. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bell Reece, Mt. Pinson, Ala.; four sons, J.C. Reece, Tarrant, Ala.; W. D. Reece, Woodlawn; Vester L. Reece, Birmingham; and Verner Reece, Atlanta; three daughters, Mrs. E. E. Stamps, Northport; Mrs. Rosella Roddam, Mt. Pinson; and Mrs. E. Lee Lilze, Utah; a brother, Tom Reece, Tuscaloosa; and three sisters, Mrs. Julia Ford; Mrs. Matt Reece, Tuscaloosa; and Mrs. R. Lewis, Texas.

DEATH DATE:

The death date on the tombstone (20 Oct 1954) disagrees with the above obituary and the state's death record. 'George' on the tombstone is spelled 'Gorge'. The birth date on the tombstone is 13 Nov 1881. If he died 3 Jan 1954 at age 71, he was born in 1882.
