The Tuscaloosa News - March 10, 1961

Thomas Henry Reece, 86, of Gordo Rt. 3, died at a local hospital Thursday. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Sand Springs Methodist Church, with the Rev. John Springer officiating.

Survivors include two sons, Victor Reece of Gordo Rt. 3, and Jesse Reece of Montgomery; three daughters, Mrs. Jessie Bailey of Gordo, Mrs. Jessie Ray of Montgomery and Mrs. Cathryn Gerhard of San Diego, Calif., a sister, Mrs. Susie Lewis of Tuscaloosa; 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Sand Springs Church cemetery, with Spigener-Brown Services Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
