Louis Emile Reck, born 31 Jul 1890 in Claude, Texas, died 5 Jan 1944 in Weatherford, Parker Co., Texas. His death certificate says that his father was Joseph Reck, born in France. Louis Emile establishes a relationship between the Recks of Armstrong Co., Texas and those of Parker Co., Texas. Louis Emile was presumably named for his uncle Emile. His father Joseph was presumably a son of Nicholas and Madelaine Reck of Armstrong Co. In the 1900 census Madelaine has had 4 children and they are all still alive.
