General:
On October 14, 1826 Samuel Reece sells to his brother-in-law John Richardson his interest in a tract in Madison Co., Kentucky inherited from his father. See notes under his father for details.

The Samuel Reece who married Charity Hinds April 12, 1817 in Wayne Co., Kentucky is presumably the same person as the son of James and Nancy Ann Reese. Note that John Richardson married Elizabeth Reese, whose sister Sarah Reese married Stephen Hinds. Stephen and Charity are first cousins. The following census entries may or may not correspond to this Samuel Reese.
