Notes
General:
Isham is mentioned in his father's 1815 will. His name follows 'Williamson', suggesting that he was the second son. In the personal property tax lists of Dinwiddie Co., Virginia, Isham and Williamson are mentioned in 1794 as males over 16 in their father's household. Williamson is mentioned in 1792. Isham probably became 16 in about 1794, suggesting that he was born in about 1778. Based on the census he was born between 1775 and 1780.

MARRIAGE:
The source for Isham Reese's marriage to Polly Rogers at Ancestry.com is "Georgia, U.S., Compiled Marriages, 1754-1850", and the entry for Isham Reese is said to be "member submitted", that is, it does not come from county marriage records. Warren Co., Georgia has marriage reoords for 1805, which can be seen at FamilySearch.org. Page 16 (image 42/581) of film # 219569, which shows marriages in June, is torn. There is an entry for June 8 which is only partially present. The righthand part is missing. The bride's name is Polly R____. The groom's first name looks like 'Isham'. The last name is unreadable.
Warren County, Georgia Marriage Records 1784-1829 compiled by Frances T. Ingmire and published in 1985 says that Isham Reese married Polly Rogers June 8, 1805.

Jones Co. and Monroe Co. are significantly west of Warren Co. In the 19th century people generally migrated westward, not eastward. There were many Reeses in Warren Co. That Isham married in Warren Co. may suggest a relationship between him and the Reeses of Warren Co.
