Hinkle & the mother of William A., Jeffie May, Charles Garland, Lawrence, & Waterson Carouth Hinkle. Frances, her husband, two of their children (Jeffie May & Waterson Carouth), and Frances' sister, Lenni Leota Sheffield were killed 21 Nov 1883 when a tornado struck the Hinkle home in Melbourne, AR.
