The following is from Byberry Waltons (Norman Walton Swayne, 1958), pgs 26-27:

35 JACOB WALTON (3), born 3rd mo 20th 1697, son of 5 William Walton & Sarah Howell of Byberry Twp, Phila. Co., Pa., is believed to have died without issue. He was not named in the wills of his father and mother, so was probably dead by Apr. 13, 1734, when the former was drawn. A note in the Gilbert Cope Collection says Jacob, born 3.2.1697, son of William Walton & Sarah Howell, married Ann Roberts and Mary Holcomb. If so, Jacob was 43 at the time of the 1st marriage. There is considerable evidence that the Jacob who made these marriages was 5 William's grandson. See under 33 Isaac and 94 William.
