JUNE BALDWIN BORK:

In Wayne Co. Kentucky Pioneers by June Baldwin Bork, volume 4, there is a multipage description of the Bond family. On page 250 there is a sketch of William Bond. He maried Charity Hinds in Wayne Co., and they had 4 children (Margaret Ann, John Washington, Isaac Beeson, and William Shelby). She died in Cole Co., Missouri, and he married a second time. He also died in Cole Co. The sketch says he was born in North Carolina, although the census says twice that he was born in Kentucky.

HINDS INTERMARRIAGES:

Joel, William, Joseph, and Isaac Bond are brothers. Joel married Jane Hinds, and William married her sister Charity. Joseph married Abigail Hinds, an aunt of Jane and Charity. William's son John Washington Bond married Charity's first cousin Margaret Hinds, a daughter of George Hinds. Isaac's daughter Jane N. Bond married Charity's second cousin Benjamin Hinds, a son of Joseph Hinds. Joseph's son John Bond married Marian Brady (see Joseph Hinds's will).

64. WILLIAM BOND (John-Joseph), son of John and Jane (Beeson) Bond, was born in Guilford County, N. C., Dec. 5, 1789; died in Cole County, Mo., Oct. 11, 1875. Moved from North Carolina to Jefferson County, Tenn., in 1795, and a few years later settled in Wayne County, Ky., where he married Charity Hinds, born Aug. 9, 1789, daughter of Joseph and Betsy Hinds. She died Jan. 30, 1866, in Cole County, Mo., to which place they moved about the year 1836, and settled near Hickory Hill. He was a soldier in the war of 1812. When in his minority was bound to his brother Joseph. Children:
