Notes
General:
The following is from Byberry Waltons (Norman Walton Swayne, 1958), pg 36:

55 HENRY WALTON (4), supposed son of 17 Caleb Walton of Moreland Twp, Montgomery Co., Pa., was alive Feb. 6, 1777, when brother Nathaniel drew his will. Probably this was the Henry in Pa. Archives as Ensign in pay of the province of Pa., commissioned Feb. 12, 1758, stationed at Fort August. The other Henry of that time, 115 Henry son of 38 Abel, was a Friend, disowned 1762 for marriage out, and probably would have been disowned earlier if he had been an ensign. 55 may have been the Henry in Pa. Archives who was in 2nd co of 3rd battalion Northampton Co. militia 1778 1st class, with 49 Boaz Walton. Also he could have been the Henry in 7th co of 1st Batt. County of Phila. 2nd class about 1782. The last two, however, might have been the son of 38 Abel.
