General:

The deed of 20 Aug 1813 establishes that Anna Maria is a daughter of Michael Charles and that Frederick Lewey is her husband. See notes under her father. Fredrick Lue Se'r. in right of wife was also one of the 6 legatees who shared in the distribution of the assets of the estate of Michael Charles.

DEATH DATE:

Friedrich Luy generally appears in the list of communicants of the Friedens Lutheran Church with his wife. They are in the list for the last time in June 1829. In May 1830 and in October 1830 he is in the list alone. She is not in the 1830 census.

BIRTH & MARRIAGE DATES:

Two sons were born in the 1780s based on the census. We can deduce that their mother was born in the early 1770s or earlier. Since she had 2 children before 1790, she was probably married in 1786 or earlier.
