Notes
General:
The lineage chart on page 90 in Unbroken Circle (life story of Mary Jane McCurdy) identifies the wife of Martin Kifer as Rachel Claybo. Clyde W. McCurdy on page 131 in McCurdy Pioneers of North America also says that Martin Kifers's wife was Rachel Claybo. He further says that she died in 1863 in Prairie Township, Arkansas.

There were several Claybough households in Sevier Co., Tennessee in the early 1800's. We need to find documentary evidence that Martin Kifer's wife really was Rachel Claybough.
