Billy Hinkle Parker

Billy Hinkle Parker, 67, died Thursday at Queen of the Valley Hospital.
Mr. Parker was born and raised near Tucumcari, N.M. He came to California in the 1940s and first worked at the Desert Inn in Palm Springs as a supply manager. He served in the Armed Forces during World War II and came to Napa in 1959. He was employed with the Napa Electric Co. as a purchasing agent until his retirement in 1980.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette of Napa; a son, David of Vacaville; and two daughters, Marylin Chambers of Sacramento and Billie Kirkendall of Woodland. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
At Mr. Parker's request, no services will be held. Inurnment will be private. The family suggests memorial contributions to charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements were under the direction of Richard Pierce Funeral Service.

MILITARY:

Billy Parker served in the Army during World War II. He enlisted 25 May 1942 and was released 27 Oct 1943.
