General:
In 1850 Sarah is living in Sevier Co. with her widowed mother and 3 unmarried sisters (Juda, Elizabeth, and Nancy Ann). Nancy Ann married in 1859 and in 1860 Elizabeth and Sarah are still living with Juda. Nancy Ann's husband died in the mid 1860s, and in 1870 the 4 sisters are again living together in the household of Juda. In 1880 Sarah and Juda are living in the household of their sister Nancy Ann Chance. Presumably Elizabeth died between 1870 and 1880.

The sisters lived for many years on a tract of land in Sevier Co. which was inherited by their brothers from their father and then sold to the sisters by the brothers. See notes under the father for details.

Sally is the principal legatee in the May 28, 1887 will of her sister Juda.
