In 1772 Mary inherited Lot No. 8 in Germantown on which her father lived at the time of his death. She also inherited a Negro boy named Moses. In 1773 Mary and her husband Jacob Rector sold the lot to Jeremiah Darnall. (GERMANNA RECORD NO. 2 Germantown Revisted, pg 40)
