My Uncle Lou did correspond with Dimice who was Sam's daughter. Sam may have looked old because he was balding, but he is the son.

I got the group pictures from (Mary) Helen Parker (John's daughter), her brother Hugh was also into genealogy, don't know if they are still alive. The picture with ID says it was before the 3 boys got married and Capitola had died recently. Sam and John married Wilber sisters Nellie and Esther. Sam and Nellie's first born is buried in the Wray, CO cemetery. They moved to El Centro CA to be near Nellie and Esther's parents the Wilbers.
