John Reese is on the same page. The male 20-30 may be the father of young Featherston (4 years old in old Featherston's household in 1860). I cannot find him in 1850. He presumably died between 1856 and 1860.

F. Reese is not in the Slave Schedule. He is in the sequence James R. Reese, F. Reese, W. H. Reese, Charlote Rives. James R. and W. H. are F.'s sons. Charlote is a daughter of John Reese. Young Featherston is presumably F.'s grandson whose parents are dead. The father may be the man 20-30 in the household of Featherston Reese in 1840. In 1870 young Featherston is living with his uncle W. H. Reese.
Young Featherston is in Madison Co., Alabama in 1900. Fred Reese in Madison Co. in 1920. Died 8 Nov 1928 in Madison Co. as Fred Reese. Married Laura Weddington as F. Reese 12 Jun 1897 in Bedford Co., Tennessee.
BEDFORD CO., VIRGINIA PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX LIST:
Featherston Reese is in the Bedford Co., personal property tax list for the first time in 1831, and he is there continuously until 1831. At first he has one horse, and then he usually has two. In 1830 he owns one slave. From 1825 until 1830 his mother Sally Reese is in the tax list, and she and Featherston are always contiguous. Featherston probably moved from Virginia to Tennessee in about 1831.
