Moses was alive in 1823 when his father wrote his will. He probably does not have an entry in the 1820 census. His sister Nancy Reese married to Richard Reese had a son named Moses. Census entries assigned to her son might correspond to her brother.

Moses bought land in 1814. He was probably at least 21 at that time, meaning that he was born in 1793 or earlier.
