GOODMAN CEMETERY:

On October 1, 1983 I visited the Goodman Cemetery, a small private cemetery located near Aquilla, Hill Co., Texas on land then owned by "Bub" Vanderford. I talked to him and his daughter Louise MacDonald. Her mother was a daughter of L. B. Goodman, a son of John H. Goodman and Mary Mollie Fletcher, who after the death of her husband married W. N. Reese, who with his wife is buried in this cemetery. John M. Reese and a son of William S. Reese are also buried there.

William N. Reese's tombstone says he was born in 1847. The 1900 census says February 1846.
