The following is from Byberry Waltons (Norman Walton Swayne, 1958), pg 19:

22 DAVID WALTON (3), died 3.20.1768, from Isaac Comly's obituary notes, believed son of 3 Thomas Walton & Priscilla Hunn of Moreland Twp, Montgomery Co., Pa., because he seems to have been old enough for the 3rd generation and has not been otherwise placed. The notes say he was grandfather of Jacob, who has not been identified. Abington Mtg 9th mo 1714 appointed David Walton to attend Quarterly Meeting. If not an error for Daniel, this David, if son of 3 Thomas, may have been the eldest child. Horsham Mtg has a record of David Walton who died 5.31.1789, perhaps son of 22 David.
