Notes
General:
The following, slightly reformatted to improve readability, is from Byberry Waltons (Norman Walton Swayne, 1958), pgs 20-21:

26 DANEL WALTON (3), born about 1691, died 8.17.1757, son of 4 Daniel Walton & Mary Lamb of Byberry Twp, Phila. Co., Pa., married 12.17.1714 at Phila. Mtg House, Elizabeth Cliffton, daughter of Henry Cliffton of Phila. 10th mo 27th 1714 Abington Mtg gave a certificate to Daniel Walton Junr in order to proceed on towards Marriage with Elizabeth ye daughter of Henry Clefton of Phila. The will of Henry Clifton of Phila. named wife Sarah and daughter Elizabeth Walton. This marriage was not reported orderly, as is usual, but minutes of 12th mo 27th say "Whereas Daniel Walton was overcome with strong liquor, he being sensible of the dishonour it hath brought on ye Truth, & ffriends; Hath at this meeting openly condemned ye Same." Wedding witnesses were Daniel, William, Samuel and Joshua Walton, Henry, Joan, John and Sarah Cliffton.

The Joseph Solomon Walton Ms says this one was known as Big Daniel. 6th mo 4th 1717 he was deeded by his parents as a gift 100 acres in Bybery, the SE end of his parents' land. 21 Dec. 1734 George Forster or Foster of Bibery Twp and wife Susanah granted to Daniel Walton of same for 62 pounds lOs, 30 acres there, part of 100 acres formerly of John Swift, beginning at a corner in the line of the late John Collett, being also a corner of said Daniel Walton's other land, by Daniel Walton NE by E 115 perches to another corner of Daniel Walton in the line of Joseph Foster, late of Josiah Ellis, by same SE by S 42 by said George Foster (other part of said 120 acres) SW by S 115 to a small run of water in the aforesaid Collett line, by same NW by N to the beginning. This deed was recorded 1773, at the same time as that from Daniel's parents. The 30 acres lay just SE of the other tract.

8th mo 4th 1757 when Daniel drew his will, proved Nov. 5, 1757, he was still of Bybery, sick and weak. He left wife Elizabeth one half for life, then all to son Daniel, who was to pay 25 pounds each to two daughters Jane and Mercy. Witnesses were Richard Walton, Daniel Walton and Wm Walmsley. The will of son Daniel shows there was a son Joseph. Isaac Comly's obituary notes, which give the above date of death, say there was a son Benjamin. These five children are all who are known:

69 Daniel d 1776 m 1762 Ann Knight b 1741 d 1825
