ARMSTRONG CO., TEXAS:

On July 5, 1889 William H. Weaver and wife Nellie A. Weaver declare a tract of 200 acres 6 miles east of Claude in a section on the Ft. Worth & Denver RR to be their homestead (Deed Records, 2/86).

On August 22, 1889 E. H. Trice and wife N. B. Trice sell to W. H. Weaver for $100 (($41.65 cash and a note for $58.35) lots 3-6, block 23 of the original town of Claude (7/229) and for $125 ($100 cash and a note for $25) lots 1 & 2, block 14 of the original town of Claude (7/230-31).

On February 7, 1890 W. H. Weaver and wife N. A. Weaver sell to S. R. Tolbert for $250 lots 5 & 6, block 23 (7/65).

On August 17, 1891 Mrs. N. A. Weaver, administratrix of the community estate of W. H. Weaver, dec'd, of Armstrong Co. sells to J. T. Slay for $250 lot 3, block 23 (7/369).
