The will of Elizabeth A. Reece, dated September 13, 1876, makes specific bequests to her daughter Manerva A. Moore (her gray mare), her son C. A. Reese (her Family Bible and 4 other books), and her grandchildren Mary A. Millican (one side saddle and one bed and necessary bed clothing and furniture), Elenora Reese (one nice quilt), H. S. Reese (one nice quilt), Olivia H. Newton (one nice quilt), Lutitia J. Hubble (her clock), and Elizabeth A. Pitts (one nice counterpane and one preserve dish). The remaining property is to be equally divided between her children Cynthia Surber, Elvira Pitts, Rebecca Marberry, C. A. Reese, Manerva A. Moore, H. S. Reese, Lutitia J. Hubble, Caladonia T. Pitts, and Perlina O. Summerford. The executor is Charles A. Reese.
