Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Evening World, September 20, 1907, p. 4.

S. Hinds, aged 60, died at three o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his son, Adam Hinds, on the John May farm near Clear Creek. Death was due to paralysis. The deceased moved to this county several years ago from Kentucky. He leaves a family. The funeral was held at 1:30 today at Smithville and interment took place at the Lucas Cemetery.
